ABOUT/PROFILE/BIO/KRYSTLE In 2007 I graduated with a Bachelor of Photography from the Queensland College of Art (Griffith University) and soon after, decided to make the move to Sydney in search of more work and opportunity. Some of my cliental range from The Sunday Telegraph, The Sunday Mail, AFP, AAP, Inside Sport, Outside Magazine (US), Outer Edge, Outdoor Magazine, Australian Mountain Bike Magazine AROC and Red Bull. Sports photography certainly throws a harder challenge in getting a unique photo as you battle the natural elements and sometimes that can even come in the form of another half dozen photographers running the sidelines with you. For me, this provides the excitement of a challenge and a chance to push the boundaries. Away from the main genre sports such as the Cricket, Soccer or Rugby League and into the extreme/alternative sports arena, all of the sudden your physical presence becomes another factor to the making of the image. There is great excitement and fear when your abseiling off 600m cliffs or swimming amongst 8ft waves and perhaps my common sense has gone numb but there is nothing more rewarding than experiencing adventure whilst capturing images along the way.
